Scenario

-Describe the different research you would have to undertake if you was asked to produce a movie for a 16-25 year old demographic group.
  1. Primary Research:
My primary research would include making questionares and surveys for my target audience which is 16-25 year old demographic group people to answer to gather quantative information  and a little qualatitve information such as what favourite genre films they like, when they usually go to the cinemas and how much they want to pay , etc.

   2. Secondary Research
Looking on the internet or reading books, magazines etc at research that has already been done and published to find out things that would help with making my product such as what type of films have done well in the past and what my target audience like to watch more due to tv ratings.

   3. What quantative and qualative data would you research?
I would research quantative information to find out what audience ratings are for movies like mine and what gender watches films more, either male or female. However with qualatitive research i would be finding out things like why people like certain movies and what types of films as quantitive gives more information about things.
4. what market research must you then do ?
For market research i would have a look at rivals in the media company that are also making films around the same time and also see what time of the year people most go to the cinema to see what time would be best to bring my movie out, in order for it to be a successful product.
